It is a sad fact that the United States Government is not enforcing the full rights of its citizens on those that choose to violate it. There are many different laws in the country, and each one protects the rights of citizens. Everyone should be protected under the law. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. Everyone has rights, but no one is willing to protect them. The Department of Justice does follow the law, but only to a certain degree.
In order to decide whether or not someone is being treated fairly under the law, you need to ask yourself what would be considered fair treatment? What would be considered unfair treatment? Under the law, everyone is entitled to equal rights. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed and be successful in life. If someone is being discriminated against based on race, religion, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, then that is considered discrimination. In this case, treating everyone fairly would mean treating all people equally.
If you are one of those individuals who believes that you are being treated fairly, there are things you can do to ensure that you are getting a fair treatment. Everyone is entitled to an education. Everyone should be able to walk down the street and get an education just like every other person. Treating everyone fairly includes letting your children attend school without having to struggle with paying for public schools that cost thousands of dollars.
Everyone should be protected from violence. There are people who choose to prey upon others because they believe that they will receive a fair treatment. If someone is being attacked, no one should be allowed to be harmed more than necessary. Treating everyone equal would include ensuring that a person who experiences a violent attack does not have an unfair advantage over those who are not being attacked.
Everyone should have access to health care. Some believe that treating everyone fairly means ensuring that every person receives health care regardless of whether they can afford it or not. Other people believe that people who cannot afford healthcare should be forced to pay for it themselves through tax credits or Medicaid programs.
Everyone should be provided equal representation in the workplace. Every person has the right to be considered for a job. Treating everyone fairly includes making sure that an employee receives an equal opportunity for employment. This includes having a diverse work team so that every employee gets a fair chance at becoming the best employee that he or she can be.
